Rachel, SLP, Owner

Ms. Rachel is a licensed speech-language pathologist and certified brain injury specialist.

Rachel discovered the importance of movement, sensory integration, and child-led strategies early in her career working with neurodivergent children and toddlers. She became very passionate about providing holistic therapy to support the whole child. Rachel utilizes a play-based approach in order to connect with your child, learn their interests, draw on their strengths, and provide language stimulation that is relevant and motivating to them.

Rachel has a five year old autistic nephew, who is the driving force behind her neurodiversity affirming practices. He was the first child she trialed gestalt language development approach with and when his language use exponentially increased, she knew this was something that would change speech therapy forever. She has now become a NLA/GLP trained speech therapist and almost exclusively treats this population of children.

Liz, SLP

Ms. Liz is a licensed speech-language pathologist, NLA/GLP trained clinician, and mom to two GLPs.

Liz graduated from the University of North Texas in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music, then went on to earn a Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology in 2014.

Having worked with neurodivergent children throughout the entirety of her career thus far, Liz has become very passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming care. She loves see the creative ways gestalt language processors express themselves, and especially finds joy in helping families understand and celebrate their communication styles.

Liz believes in the power of play. She has seen firsthand how a child-led, play-based approach helps children regulate, build connections, and grow their language skills. Sessions with her not only incorporate play, but also music/singing, a focus on regulation, and each child’s specific interests.

When she’s not in the clinic, Liz loves spending time with her husband and two children, who keep her inspired with their creativity, curiosity, and love of play.
