Pediatric Play-Based Speech, Feeding & Occupational Therapy

Rooted & Rising Therapies

Child-led. Play-based. Neurodiversity affirming.

Speech Therapy

Rooted Therapies provides speech services for children and teenagers, focusing on helping them develop effective communication skills in a fun and supportive environment. We specialize in personalized approaches that support speech, language, gestalt language processing, social communication, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), and executive functioning empowering every child to express themselves confidently and connect with others.

Neurodiversity affirming practices are combined with play-based methods that incorporate movement and a full-sensory experience

Occupational Therapy

Rooted Therapies provides occupational therapy services to help children and teenagers build the skills for everyday life—through play. We work alongside families to support sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, self-care routines, and emotional regulation. Our therapists are trained in gestalt language processing and use a playful, child-led approach so therapy feels safe, engaging, and empowering. Occupational Therapy at Rooted is designed to help your child thrive, experience the world in a way that honors their brain, and grow in their independence!

Feeding Therapy

Feeding and Swallowing Therapy at Rooted is no different than any other service we offer. Our feeding approach is built on our same child-led, play-based, and connection-driven principles. This is responsive-feeding, NOT force feeding.

We are here to help your child grow by experiencing new foods, increasing their safe foods, and being exposed to nutrient-rich foods in an environment that feels safe and FUN!
